Future Development
VicUrban is working to provide a range of community and education opportunities within Melbourne Docklands.
Development already underway includes Stage 1 of the Kangan Batman TAFE Automotive Centre of Excellence (ACE) campus. Once complete, the ACE campus will consolidate all of Kangan Batman TAFE's automotive training facilities on one site which, together with new state-of-the-art technology and equipment, will ensure it is a unique centre of automotive learning, research and development.
Future plans also include the development of further education and community facilities on the triangle site adjacent to the Kangan Batman ACE campus. A key feature of this future development will be the level of community access available to the facility. This site has been temporarily landscaped until such time as development is ready to commence.
Collectively the development of these facilities supports the Docklands community by providing opportunities for continued lifelong learning, education and training.
